by Grab a teacup and a Sharpie marker, write a message on the inside bottom of a cup (or on the side of it), and bake for 30 min at 350 F to make the writing permanent. Great for bridal party gifts!
This week, I started a new DIY project for our wedding and home. (Thanks to Pinterest for the genius idea.) It’s coffee mugs with hand drawn sharpie images.
Once the clip art is drawn on the mugs and detailed with the wedding date and initials, we popped them in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Voila! The coffee mugs/ tea-cups are completed. I do highly suggest only hand washing the cups once it is baked. The clip art and sharpie is too delicate to withstand the dishwasher. After testing a few samples in the dishwasher, the clipart eventually fades after several cycles. Therefore, it’s highly recommended to hand wash the cups.
